High Honors for Linden's Industries' Safety Records
Infineum USA L.P. facilities in Linden have received the New Jersey Safety Council’s Beacon of Safety Award. Infineum’s Bayway Chemical Plant and Linden Business and Technology Center received this prestigious award for their “outstanding and continuous achievement in occupational safety.” The awards ceremony was held in Atlantic City during the 21st Annual Mid-Atlantic Region Safety and Loss Control Expo.
The Beacon Award, which is the highest recognition bestowed by the Council, was presented to Infineum for the five or more years of achievement through the New Jersey Department of Labor Governor’s Award program. The NJ Safety Council has been a co-sponsor of the Governor’s program since its inception in 1927.
Linden Mayor John T. Gregorio joined several Infineum employees from the Linden facilities as they received the award. “I’ve been attending presentation of safety awards to Infineum for a few years now, and every year I gain more respect for the great job this company is doing while maintaining an untarnished safety record,” said Gregorio.
