Infineum and ExxonMobil Chemical Sign Agreement to Further Serve Gear Oil Additive Customers

Infineum and ExxonMobil Chemical have signed a Gear Oil Additives Agreement that will leverage both Infineum's expertise in lubricant additive technology and extensive product portfolio with ExxonMobil Chemical's strengths in manufacturing, R&D and extensive experience in gear oil additive technology.

In signing the agreement, Infineum will act as the exclusive marketer of ExxonMobil Chemical's Mobilad G series gear oil additive packages. With a target changeover of late 2002, gear oil additive customers will be able to access enhanced market offerings such as an expanded product line and Infineum's customer service department through the Infineum Global Marketing and Sales Organization. ExxonMobil Chemical will continue to supply customers with synthetic lubricant basestocks such as polyalphaolefins and esters along with Mobilad C series products.
