Infineum and Two Employees are Honored
by the YWCA
The Young Women
Christian Association (YWCA) of Central Jersey honored two Infineum
employees, Mary Cathrin Crowley and Natalyn N. Price, who received
Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) awards. In addition, Infineum
was recognized with a corporate award for its support of policies
and practices to encourage opportunities for the advancement of
women.
Originating
in 1975 to empower women in the workplace, the TWIN awards program
honors women who have excelled in their fields and made significant
contributions to industry in executive, managerial and professional
roles.
Ms. Crowley,
who administers wellness programs for employees at Infineum's Bayway
Chemical Plant, was recognized for her leadership in heading a diverse
group to develop a safety program, Total Safety Culture, which involves
culture change within the organization. She was instrumental in
recruiting and organizing trainers to train 277 employees and contractors
within a one-month time constraint.
Ms. Price was recognized for her leadership in Information Technology,
which includes the coordination of a global team of IT professionals
in the areas of telecommunications, desk-top services, e-mail, local
network, voice, intranet and internet services, and e-business.
